Website analytics choices

LAKOY records website activity only after you choose Allow analytics in the privacy banner. You can change that choice using the Privacy choices button at the bottom of any storefront page.

What we measure

Our LAKOY dashboard records pages viewed, product pages viewed, products added to your bag, checkout starts and campaign sources. It uses random browser and session identifiers; its database does not store your name, email address, full URL query string, IP address or payment details.

Google Analytics

When configured, Google Analytics 4 also runs only after you choose Allow analytics. It measures page and shopping events and provides approximate country, city, device and traffic reports. Your browser connects to Google and Google may set analytics cookies; Google processes your IP address to estimate location. We do not send your name, email, order details or full page query strings to Google from this integration. Advertising personalisation stays off.

Storage and choices

Your analytics choice and LAKOY’s random browser identifier are stored in your browser. Choosing Essential only stops new tracking and removes the LAKOY identifier and available Google Analytics cookies from this site. LAKOY activity records are purged after 90 days when tracking next runs. Removing browser data alone does not erase previously recorded anonymous activity. Google Analytics has its own data retention settings.

Website analytics are separate from Shopify checkout and order records, which are needed to process purchases. Contact LAKOY through the contact page for privacy questions.
